Manasa started planning for my BD a month
before itself. She kept saying “Amma, you should enjoy the rest day on your BD. I
will do all the works and you just have to have the fun.” J
Since a week, she used to ask me naughtily
almost daily “Amma, what special day is coming in 5 days…4 days etc”. Thus she
started the countdown, a week before. J
She gave a to-do list to her dad, to buy
for my BD. A saree (she says she likes me in saree only), a salwar (coz I told her
that it’s my choice), a chain and an ear-ring. The last two are still pending
and I think I need to follow-it-up with Manasa. ;-)
Last night she wrote a surprise greeting
letter and kept it under my pillow, without my knowledge. To my “surprise”, I
saw it only in the morning.
She fulfilled her promise too up to an extent that she could do, like re-arranging her toys after playing, swept & mopped wherever it was dusty
& dirty on the floor.
Already asked her dad to come home early to
go out for dinner.
I should have kept counting from the morning, to have a clear count on how many times she has wished me HBD. :-)
I have just described the happenings and I
am not going to share my emotions here, because obviously I cannot express it in words.

thanks a lot my darling. Not only because of these incidents, but generally everyday,
