Social Media Vs Reality

The boy was crying as he was not interested to get up early, get ready and go out. His mood was so upset that he did not even want to give the greeting card that he prepared for his dad’s birthday. Somehow parents got him ready and they went to an orphanage, as they are sponsoring their breakfast for the day. It was getting late there due to some reasons and the little one cannot wait any longer. So the parents decide not wait till the food are served, but leave just after distributing some sweets. The snobbish little one was not volunteering himself even for that, so mum distributes the sweets and they left after hearing the children's prayer songs.

Both mum n dad felt hungry but the kid was not interested to go a restaurant, as he had to play with a new toy at home. So they gets a parcel of idly, vada, dosa & pongal from a restaurant. The little one was happy only after they reached home. Finally he gives the card to his dad and wishes him.

The father updated his FB status:
My son was the first one to wish me on my birthday with this beautiful card. I was lucky to visit a charity today with family. -With smiley status ‘Eating breakfast in Saravana bhavan with family’.

Moral of the story: Social media statuses are the polished version of reality. :-p
